Things are moving in Bel-Air: Over the course of ten years, the neighbourhood has changed with the involvement of the ANRU and the Plan de Renouvellement Urbain et Social (Urban and Social Renewal Plan). How can the changes experienced by the neighbourhood be analyzed? The urban planning departments wanted an innovative tool to understand and discuss this transformation: the digitally fabricated model that Quatorze proposed is a tool to share the neighbourhood’s urban future through both visualization and debate. It not only makes it possible to visualize how the Bel-Air district has developed, but also how its future evolution may look like – notably the area around the future Beethoven Square, which is part of an in-depth work with the district’s inhabitants.
