This project was developed with the students of the studio ‘architecture in the time of disruption’ coordinated by Cyrille Hannappe at ENSA Paris-Belleville. Both pedagogical and experimental, this project aimed to forge links in society by relying mainly on exchange. The site thus became a learning platform for all. The building was constructed with students and inhabitants to accommodate a common room and a collective kitchen. Through awareness-raising and co-construction work, the aim was to promote an economic, sustainable and solidarity-based architecture for a way out of the health emergency present in the shantytowns.
