Mains d’Œuvres is a place for creation and dissemination, research and experience, designed to welcome artists from all disciplines, associations and citizens. Installed in the former Valeo Factories Social and Sports Centre, it is a 4000 m2 building on the outskirts of the Saint-Ouen Flea Market. Firmly rooted in the region, Mains d’Œuvres is a multifaceted space, open to all.

As part of the tutored project of the Professional Degree in Eco-construction for Sustainable Development at the Pierre and Marie Curie University, Quatorze supervises and trains students in the design of architectural projects and their implementation. The 2013-2014 tutored project aimed to study the structure and its acoustics, as well as economic and logistical management in order to prepare the construction of a prototype representative of the overall structure, which the students would then edit during an intensive construction phase.

Quatorze and the UPMC students collaborated with the Landauer studio, the project manager, to develop a prototype wall for a concert hall and called on various actors to coordinate the project: the Bellastock association took care of finding reusable materials and the APIJ association set up a school-building site around the project. The aim was to rehabilitate the old gymnasium into a place that could host concerts as well as conferences.
